2. Composition/Information on Ingredients

Composition: Dry pack powder products which contain less than 25% Portland cement mixed with organic additives and inorganic fillers not classified as hazardous

3. Hazard Identification (Hazard designation not classified under current regulations)
As with all cement products the ECOSCREED cementitious products are alkaline.
Inhalation : Dust will be harmful to respiratory tract. WEAR DUST MASK WHILST HANDLING MATERIALS
Eye Contact : Dust will irritate eyes and may cause alkali burns. WEAR PROTECTIVE GOGGLES
Skin Contact : May cause alkali burns or sensitization by skin contact. WEAR GLOVES AND OVERALLS

4. First Aid Measures
Note: TREAT LIKE CHEMICAL BURNS
Inhalation : Provide fresh air, seek medical advice if systems persist.
Eye Contact : Flush eyes with copious running water for several minutes. If symptoms severe seek medical attention.
Skin Contact : Remove contaminated clothing immediately and rinse affected skin with copious amounts of water

5. Fire Fighting Measures
Suitable extinguishing Media : Carbon Dioxide, Water Spray or jet

6. Accidental Release Measures
The materials are not dangerous if released
Personal Precautions : Avoid skin and eyes contact. Provide dust masks and sufficient ventilation / extraction during use
Environmental Precaution : Prevent from entering sewer system, surface water or soil
Methods of Cleaning : Collect spillages by mechanical means ie Vacuum cleaning to minimise dusting

7. Handling & Storage
Handling : Use in well ventilated areas. Avoid dust formation. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Take appropriate care when moving 1 tonne pallets and lifting individual 25kg bags. Do not stack pallets more than two high
Storage : Keep in dry environment

Exposure control limits : Ensure good ventilation and minimize dusting during mixing procedures
Hand Protection : Protective gloves of PVC or rubber
Eye Protection : Full face positive displacement mask or safety goggles
Skin Protection : Complete overall and gloves
Respiratory Protection : DUST FILTER MASK OR POSITIVE AIR DISPLACEMENT MASK
