Ecoscreed Deco-Verde is an award winning material, developed in conjunction with The Art & Design Research Centre at Sheffield Hallam University. It is an attractive, highly versatile, durable material, which consists of, typically, 85% recycled glass.

Laid as an in-situ screed, Ecoscreed Deco-Verde gives a totally seamless finish without any need for separate expansion joints. Ecoscreed Deco-Verde should only be applied to fully cured substrates and following suitable mechanical preparation.

The resultant finish is impervious, has high resistance to UV rays and chemical resistance to oils, petrol, diesel, alcohol, urine, dilute acids and alkalis.

Ecoscreed Deco-Verde has won the professional category in the International Design Awards in 2002 & 2003, and was given the Material of Excellence title by Material Connexions in New York.

The Ecoscreed Deco-Verde screed mix consists of pre-blended predominantly green glass cullet which can incorporate clear, green, amber and blue glass in random fractions. The resin base can be pigmented to match any RAL or BS colour standard, providing maximum design flexibility so that any corporate identity can be easily replicated.

Ecoscreed Deco-Verde is a recycled product, so small amounts of other material may also be present, e.g. bottle tops, ceramic etc.

Bespoke glass mixes are possible, providing an infinite colour palette.

Specifications

Substrates shall have a minimum compressive strength of 20N/mm2. A nominal 10mm thickness of Ecoscreed Deco-Verde shall be applied to the correctly prepared and primed substrate.

Ecoscreed Deco - Verde (Grey)

Following cure, the grinding and polishing phase shall be carried out to produce the required grade of finish.

Ecoscreed Deco-Verde should only be applied by a suitably qualified contractor.

Ecoscreed Deco - Verde (White)

Ecoscreed Deco-Verde is formulated using solvent free Epoxy resin based technology, which offers the advantage of low odour during application, greater user friendliness and has a zero VOC.

We also produce Ecoscreed Deco - Verde Rapide, a solvent free MMA based resin system that offers the advantage of a more rapid return to service.
